Alex Crisses utilizes his know how and knowledge garnered in the business sector to help distinct charitable foundations. His knowledge with Minds Matter at Mindsmatter.org runs deep. This non-profit foundation has enriched the lives of many high school students from low-income families. Their focus is helping students who have excelled at academics realize their ambitions of gaining admission to institutions of higher learning.
Minds Matter prepares these students for college and university success and Alex Crisses’ past involvement with the organization is extensive. He helped lead fundraising initiatives and was a member of the foundations’ Executive Committee. Minds Matter has several goals as a not-for-profit, including their goal of further developing partnerships with summer programs and colleges that share their commitment to supporting high-achieving, low-income students.
Working with Minds Matter, Alex Crisses and others are furthering the foundation’s numerous goals. One short-term goal is to revitalize the alumni program to ensure that Minds Matter students not only enroll in college, but also successfully complete their undergraduate studies. One of Minds Matter’s long-term goals is assuring that every Minds Matter student receives the funding necessary to attend the college of his/her choice.
Alex Crisses IVP continues to commit time and energy to his career responsibilities and to his different charitable organization responsibilities. He believes this fulfills a two-fold purpose. He works to help companies reach their business goals in an always-challenging economic environment; he works to serve charities in efficiently meeting the needs of those who require their services.
