A basic problem facing someone who has just taken delivery of their first cooler is ‘How Do I the Drip Tray?’.Eventually the drip tray of the water coolers will overflow and if you don’t empty it then you’ll end up with water on the floor - spoiling the carpet or potentially damaging a wooden or laminate floor - so keeping on top of the water drip tray is essential. Another snag that can arise from not emptying the drip tray is the build up of bacteria and algae - the drip tray looks uglyand unsanitary. So to start - take off any tray which may sit on top of your drip reservoir. Many water coolers have this offering a support tray for any cups being used.. These will always simply clip out so a little firm pressure will remove the grill. Having removed the grill you’ll have a firmer grip on the drip tray itself. Again using firm pressure draw the drip reservoir towards you it unclips easily. Drain any water into a sink or bucket. Give the inside of the drip reservoir a wipe with a cleaning cloth and you may like to use a little gentle cleansing fluid or detergent at this stage just to disinfect the drip reservoir and optimise its hygiene level. Once the dripreservoir is clean you can simply push it back into place using firm pressure. You’ll sense the click as it clips back into home. And finally replace the grill if the reservoir has one and you’re finished!
